The brand new Thrift Farm Day Nursery & Pre-School building will have everything you would expect, with the added advantage of a farm-based setting.

Meet the Manager
Emma Hall
Nursery Manager
Having worked in childcare for 20 years, Emma has a degree in Early Years Studies and Early Years Teachers Status. She loves spending time with friends and family and has two little girls who attended Thrift Farm Day Nursery. Her passion is watching children grow and develop their own personalities. She is delighted to be part of the Thrift Farm team and looks forward to supporting children and families as they enjoy everything the nursery has to offer.

• Working Parents Free Childcare scheme
• Tax Free childcare
• 9 month, 2, 3, and 4 year old government funding
Additional Savings
We also offer additional discounts to help you save on the cost of childcare. When you enquire, ask about the following special offers:
- 10% discount for NHS families
- 10% emergency services discount
- 10% discount for parents paying full 5 days
- 10% sibling discount for the eldest child

Well-being Activity Documents
At Thrift Farm Day Nursery & Pre-School, we offer a truly special start to your child’s early years, right here on the farm! Surrounded by fresh air, friendly animals, and open countryside, children have endless opportunities to learn, explore, and grow.
Our regular farm visits are always a highlight, giving children the chance to care for animals, build kindness and confidence, and develop a real connection with nature.
In our Mini Farmers Room (pre-school), we help every child feel ready and excited for their next big step to school. Guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and our experienced team, children enjoy a mix of structured learning and hands-on farm fun. From feeding animals and grooming ponies to planting veggies and mucking out stables.
These experiences are not only great fun but also help build teamwork, independence, and problem-solving skills, all while nurturing a love of learning and the outdoors.
