Housed in the renovated 20 metre glass house and surrounded by an outdoor courtyard with Potting Shed Cafe, Thrift Farm Garden Centre is home to a stunning selection of plants, garden tools and hand crafted gifts.
The Garden Centre is instrumental in providing a working based environment for our Adult Care Clients, who were the catalyst for the decision to reopen it after five years.

Beautiful Blooms
Browse a stunning selection of plants at Thrift Farm Garden Centre.
Sourced from local nurseries, find Herbacous Perennials, Climbers, Seasonal Bedding, Roses, Shrubs, Small Trees, Hedging, Fruit and Vegetable Plants and Alpines.
Thrift Farm Garden Centre is also home to a large range of Mr Fothergills seeds and SeedBall, stunning wildflower seeds encased in peat, which require no planting!
Pets & Wildlife
From feathered to furry friends, we currently stock a small pet range for cats and dogs, with more coming later this year!
You can also browse a range of different feeds, a selections of bird boxes and bird baths.
Tools of the Trade
Showstopping gardens need the best tools, and we stock a wide variety of gardening essentials.
Shop tools from spades to hoses, plus a great range of decorative pots for indoors and outdoors, plant food, decorative bark and growbags.
We also sell lots of gardening accessories including tree ties, dippers and propagation, in addition to a fantastic range of Kent and Stowe Gardening Gloves and a range for little gardeners too!

Whatever the occasion, we stock a fantastic selection of gifts at Thrift Farm Garden Centre.
Our shelves are stocked with candles, clocks, mugs, doorstops and a great range of children’s toys too!
Handmade by Thrift Farm
Look out for the silver stickers on products in our Garden Centre…it means that the product has been lovingly hand crafted by one of our Adult Care Clients.
From unique planters to beautiful bird boxes and brilliant bug hotels- our handmade products are made from a mixture of recycled and new wood and are looking for their forever home!
Fantastic Food & Drink
The Potting Shed Cafe is a calm and relaxing space with beautiful rustic decor and plenty of seating. It is situated next door to Thrift Farm Garden Centre.
Try a delicious homemade cake and barista style coffee, tea (or hot chocolate with cream!) Plus, nutritious meals and snacks freshly prepared on site by our passionate Cafe team and Adult Care clients.
