How much is the enrichment fee?
We apply an enrichment fee to help cover the cost of meals, resources, and additional learning experiences on funded days. For our Enrichment Fee 2026, Click Here.
What are your opening hours?
We are open from 7:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Funded sessions run from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
You can extend the day by adding an Early Club (7:30–8:00am) or Late Club (6:00–6:30pm) for a small additional fee.
Do you offer term-time only places?
We offer stretched funding as we are open all year round. This means:
30 hours of funding is stretched to 22.5 hours per week
15 hours of funding is stretched to 11 hours per week.
9 month, 2,3 and 4 year old funding available including 30 hours.
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We offer the following discounts:
10% NHS Discount
10% Emergency Services Discount
10% Sibling Discount (applied to the eldest child’s account)
Please note that only one discount can be applied per family at any one time.
Is there a minimum number of sessions required?
Yes, we ask that children attend a minimum of two sessions per week.
This could be:
1 full day and 1 half day, or
2 half-day sessions (either AM sessions from 8:00am–1:00pm, PM sessions from 1:00pm – 6:00pm, or a combination of both).
We find this helps children settle more easily and build stronger relationships with staff and peers.

How do the settling-in sessions work?
We typically offer six settling-in sessions, but this can be adjusted based on your child’s needs.
Session 1: One hour with a parent or carer staying throughout. During this session, you’ll meet the team and complete an All About Me form, so we can learn about your child’s likes, dislikes, routines, comforters, and special words or dates.
Session 2: One hour with the option for you to step out for part or all of the session.
Session 3: Usually extended to 1–1.5 hours, depending on how your child is settling.
Sessions 4–6: Can be between 1.5 to 2 hours.
Settle sessions usually take place in the morning (9:00–11:00) or afternoon (2:00–4:00).
What’s your sickness policy?
If your child is unwell, we ask that you consider whether they are well enough to attend nursery. For example, if your child has needed Calpol every four hours in the last 24 hours (including overnight), we recommend keeping them at home until their temperature stabilises without medication.
In cases of sickness or diarrhoea, your child must stay at home for 48 hours after the last episode. If your child has been prescribed antibiotics, they should remain at home for 24 hours after the first dose before returning.
We can administer prescribed medication at the setting as long as it’s clearly labelled and provided in the original packaging.
What’s your notice period?
We require four weeks’ written notice if you are leaving the nursery. The same applies to any permanent changes to your child’s sessions.
This is due to our monthly invoicing schedule and helps us plan staffing and availability effectively.
Can we swap sessions?
We do not offer session swaps.
However, additional (ad hoc) sessions can be booked if there is availability in your child’s room.
If we go on holiday, do we still have to pay?
Yes, all booked sessions remain chargeable even if your child is away on holiday.
Do you have a waiting list?
Yes, we currently have a waiting list and encourage parents to register their interest as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
What happens after we send in the registration form?
Once we receive your registration form, your child will be added to our waiting list, which is reviewed on a weekly basis.
Around six months before your requested start date, we will contact you to confirm availability and offer you a place. At this stage, we will request a £150 deposit (£50 of which is an admin fee, and £100 is deducted from your first invoice).
One month before your start date, we will be in touch to arrange your child’s settling-in sessions.
Are you open over Christmas and New Year?
Yes, we’re open during the two-week Christmas and New Year period, but we are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
If Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve falls on a weekday, we close at 4:00pm to give our team time with their families.
Please note that these sessions remain fully chargeable.
Are bank holidays chargeable?
Yes, if your child is scheduled to attend on a bank holiday, the session will still be fully chargeable.
